Xander is 1/2 of the upcoming duo producers on Meek Mill’s dreamchaser team. He contacted VIO to produce a promotional video for the premiere of Meek’s new single “Blue Notes 2” featuring Lil Uzi Vert that he and his brother Nick Papz were the producers for! The end result presented a one minute visual that is a dynamic, fast paced, and thrilling experience that shows Xander working on his laptop that he used to produce the beat for this song!
Xherd Aliko is a videographer and photographer based out of MA/ New York but also one of the Co-Founders and Creative Directors at VIO. Xherd shoots, edits, and produces all his youtube videos in his free time that revolve around photography, videography, and creative direction. Using his knowledge of marketing and production these videos serve as work for Xherd’s own personal brand. Also it allows him to perfect his craft and further his experience with the platform so he can then guide clients and brands in this avenue of social media.
This summer, we officially kicked off our internship program here at VIO! Ebi Aliko was VIO’s first Digital Marketing Intern who took on a vigorous 2-month program in which he supported VIO in six areas of operations: (1) photo/video capture, (2) administrative support, (3) social media planning, (4) video editing, (5) copywriting, and (6) graphic design.
The goal was to allow Ebi to dabble in every area of marketing we specialize into gauge where he demonstrated his strengths and where he could spend more time improving.
At the end of the program, he was given a final project that focused in on one of the six areas of digital marketing that interested him the most. Ebi chose to launch a mock-up fashion brand called, “SecondHand Man”, using skills from all six areas of VIO operations. We enjoyed working with Ebi and learned so much from him ourselves.
For VIO’s social media, we also had to create our own strategy. After having many internal meetings, we had many brand persona discussions to figure out what we wanted to provide to our community on social media. After establishing our messaging, we came up with three pillars, or three sub-messages that we wanted to communicate through our content. The first is showing our audience our expertise/credibility as a marketing company. The second is showing our audience our branding/marketing process & our identity as a marketing agency. The third is teaching our audience marketing tips. Any content that we make will be under one of these three topics to stay on brand. We then use this to serve as the framework for our content calendar, so every week we should post about all three pillars generally.
VIO got in contacted with Slim in a period where he felt like he was stuck in the crossroads with what he was doing musically. Like many artists do, Slim thought thinking about marketing and his brand came after he’s made it in the industry. Quickly after just a couple of meetings with VIO he saw that that was not the case. Early meetings with Slim consisted of branding deep dives and uncovering where he even wanted to take all of this. VIO knew it was crucial to sit down and sculpt the pillars that made up Slim da Wits brand and what he knew was important to him. One of the biggest pillar uncovered to be “I am a creator” and that’s where Tik Tok came in. That was the first social platform to start attacking, with Slim’s natural creator and storytelling ability we advised him to hop multiple trends on the app for musicians to build that early tractions. In just as little as 2 months he saw his first viral video! Now after a little over a year on the app Slim has racked up 117k followers and 1.2 million likes on the app!
Sports Performance Lab (SPL) requested VIO to fully create and manage their social media content in 2020. After having a brand persona call to figure out what audiences SPL are targeting, we develop a consistent set of content to help show people the workings of SPL. This included athlete testimonial videos, google review graphics, twitter graphics, technology highlights, and more. We wanted to emphasize the results athletes got after going to the Lab while also showcasing the unique aspects of this futuristic training center. We then boosted this content on Facebook and Instagram to increase reach to the audiences we were targeting.
Theradynamics was offering services to their clients in person, but wanted to expand that effort by using Facebook and Instagram ads. They wanted a short, social media optimized video to sell their offer efficiently. If you need ad content created for your products or services, VIO can create that for you.
The LEAD NYC is a student-athlete leadership organization that offers leadership workshops, athletic development, and leadership-focused curriculum to schools. Part of LEAD’s collaborations with schools, they wanted to create a planner journal to give to students to work on their leadership skills long-term. They asked VIO to help create it and plan a release strategy around this planner. We designed the planner from scratch, creating areas for students to write in and keep track of their daily routines. We then rented a space to film a promo video for the planner and edited that footage to create social media versions & ads for its release. For its release, we also created a landing page on Shopify to provide a central hub to direct people to in order to eventually end up purchasing. At VIO, we can create and manage social media campaigns around a certain call to action, like purchasing a product.
The LEAD NYC is a student-athlete leadership organization that offers leadership workshops, athletic development, and leadership-focused curriculum to schools. They were planning to pitch LEAD to a prospective sponsor and wanted a video to accompany a presentation deck that VIO also made. We filmed raw, intimate interviews with athletes who have been under the LEAD program along with a talk from its owner, Jeremiah Brown. We edited that footage to create a compelling video that talked about the problem and how LEAD plans to solve it.
Lily Massie is an artist based out of Los Angeles California that worked with VIO to produced and edited the music video to her song Harmless. The VIO team took the lead and created the storyboard, treatment, and narrative of the video months prior to shooting. Once that was complete the location scouting was in progress and production kicked off. The production happened in multiple locations in NYC that last for about 2 days in total. The official music video reached over 12,000 views on Lily’s Youtube channel.
Lil MP is an upcoming rapper and artist based out of Brooklyn, NY that contacted VIO to produce videos for 3 of his songs that were off of his Parson’s Paradise EP he had dropped a year prior. After a couple of meetings we had reached a direction and purpose for creating these video and that was to try to give that project the traction it needed before moving onto the next. With no prior marketing efforts taken on that specific project, MP wanted to give it a try and thought this would be a great way to start. Given that the EP was nothing new we decided to create content that was an extension of it, that is why we decided to film all 3 videos and package them together as a short visual EP. This allowed MP to start his youtube channel but also regain traction to his streaming platforms. VIO produced and edited 3 music videos and 1 behind the scene video for Lil MP that generated 3,000 impressions and streams across his social media and streaming platforms.
Jordan and Paul are a very enthusiastic and energetic couple who officially got married in the Summer of 2020. Unfortunately, they were planning to have their wedding with lots of friends and family members, but the pandemic didn’t allow that to happen. Therefore, they decided to have their wedding with their closest family members on a beach in New Jersey. VIO was proud to photograph this wedding. One year later in the summer of 2021, they had a full-blown wedding at the Atlantis Ballroom in Toms River, NJ. James Connor-Recio, known as “Jamesz” is a Latin R&B singer, songwriter, & producer from Puerto Rico who is the second artist that has partnered up with VIO. Our partnership began this August when Jamesz hired VIO to assist with marketing his latest single “Acéptame Asi”. VIO created the single cover and video content that was used for his social media and streaming platforms. Now already at 10.5k total streams across all streaming platforms, “Acéptame Asi” sits at the top as Jamesz most successful song released!
The LEAD NYC is a student-athlete leadership organization that offers leadership workshops, athletic development, and leadership-focused curriculum to schools. They hosted and ran a leadership workshop for student-athletes where they did activities and athletic drills for the participants. VIO filmed and edited this video that covers the workshop.
Jessvka is a well-known Queens, New York influencer who has 100k+ followers on Instagram and TikTok each. She requested VIO to help film and edit a Youtube video for her channel. We filmed and used Youtube-style graphics and trending sounds to edit the video. We didn’t handle distribution, but we offered Jess hashtags and titles to use to increase ranking.

They requested VIO to film all the activities, events, and ceremonies, and edit a 10-20 minute film so they could have a video to look back on. At the height of covid, FFIM reached out to us to produce a reopening video of their church and what that will look like with guidelines of the CDC. After this video, we continued our partnership with producing videos of online lessons for their Sunday School, Monthly church announcements that streamed on their FaithTv platform, and powerful bible verse recitation videos for both lead pastors that they posted weekly on their Instagrams.
The rollout for content for announcing the release of Slim Da Wit’s first official EP to major streaming platforms focused on one thing; to convert the audience we have been building over the last year (100k across all social platforms) to streamers of his music. To do this we began with 3 teaser visuals, almost like trailers, that hinted to something on the horizon. These served to get his followers interested enough to wonder what was on its way as it was following the release of his “Let’s Have Fun” his first single a month prior. The last video in the 3 trailer set was the official announcement that began the pre-save campaign, which consisted of a more traditional ad-like video content that focuses on “pre-save my ep” being the call to action. The duration of this content lasted up to the release of the EP which was finally on August 13th, 2021.
This video project wrapped up the marketing plan VIO instilled for the rollout of Slim da Wit’s first official EP “TRUTHS”. “The First Show” is a hybrid of a documentary that leads up to a virtual concert experience where the artist performs every song on his project. The purpose behind it served to be one last big marketing push to grab as much traction to his streaming platforms and youtube channel. It begins in a traditional documentary-like format that follows Slim’s preparation for the big release, his thoughts on the process of his project, personal details about his life, and then concluding with a full on raw performance of each one of his songs.
Theradynamics had their physical therapy and rehab staffing company brand established since 1995 and contacted VIO in 2020 to refresh their branding. This started with a logo redesign.
We underwent a Branding Deep Dive to understand their Branding Persona. From there, we designed their logo to communicate their brand as bold, lively, and sharp using the Poppins typeface under a Black weight with an orange highlight to give it an energetic lip.
